Offering an elegant glass and stainless steel automated barrier, the Electro Glass Pass gates are simple and affordable. With openings of 500mm to 900mm the Glass Gate allows the creation of wider access points to facilitate DDA, deliveries and special requirements. They can operate stand alone or be included within a range of turnstiles, or as part of our glass and stainless steel balustrading and barrier system.
Their simple contemporary design allows Glass gates to be installed almost anywhere. They can be controlled remotely or from a reception desk, or with the addition of a reader post, can form part of a wider access control/intercom solution.
Glass gates are the system of choice for hotels and leisure locations or can be added to any turnstile system when incorporated DDA solutions.
Equipped with servo actuators, the Glass Gate can be operated by push button or automatically, always returning to the closed position.
A range of standard control options such as open/closed/hold open/hold closed are available.
Open/Closed commands can originate using access control systems or manual control consoles.
The Glass Gate locks in the closed position offering additional security.
On acceptance of an authorised command, the Glass gate opens to the programmed position, then returns to the closed position and locks. When moving, it is a low energy device which meets all safety standards.

Size: Height of post: 941mm above FFL
Materials: Column: 225mm diameter column incorporating the control, drive and locking gear, all clad in brushed stainless steel with no visible fixings. Glass Panel: 8mm thick clear toughened glass, with polished edges.
Operation: The operational principle of this turnstile is based upon the device locking the leaf in its closed position. When access permission is granted, the actuator rotates the flag-shape blade to 90 degrees and returns to its initial closed position when access is completed.
Fail Safe: In the event of fire alarm/power failure the gate will automatically unlock, allowing free access/egress.
Optional: Backup battery, remote control panel and remote radio controller.
Do you require exceptionally high security at your facility?
We can also provide full height versions of our turnstiles which can be linked to our interlocking door systems. We also secure the site as a whole, using barriers gates and road blockers which can be crash rated. Contact us and ask for details.
